To enroll your child in Kindergarten at Ronda-Clingman Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year we encourage you to complete this enrollment application prior to Kindergarten Screening on Thursday, March 26. Students 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Kindergarten Screening will be at Ronda-Clingman on Thursday, March 26. Call the school at 336-651-4200 to schedule an appointment time. You can expect approximately 30-45 minutes for screening.
At screening students will work with Kindergarten staff to complete short academic screening activities as well as to have their vision and hearing screened.
At screening parents/guardians should expect to review and discuss enrollment documents, talk to the school nurse to discuss any medical or dietary needs, and to sign up for school bus transportation.
Please bring the following documents to Ronda-Clingman by March 26, 2026. These documents are required for enrollment, even if previously provided for PreK.
- photo ID of parent/guardian
- certified birth certificate of the child
- proof of residence (copy of bill with your address)
- proof of guardianship (if applicable)
- NC kindergarten health assessment and immunizations (must be completed by child's doctor and submitted by August 2026)
